  • PosiGen solar power company won the 2014 & 2015 Green Business Awards, presented annually by the Green Business Association of Southern California (GBA). Thomas Neyhart states that this award honors companies that are leaders in energy and environmental awareness and practices. Polling industry professionals select the honorees as leaders in sustainability and examples of corporate social responsibility.
  • PosiGen was awarded the 2015 and 2016 awards for “The Most Innovative Company in Energy Efficiency”.
  • Thomas Neyhart adds that PosiGen was awarded the Best of the Blogs Award for Best Solar Installation Firm by the Solar Energy International Awards on May 19, 2013.

 

PosiGen was founded by three former employees of Tesla Motors, Inc. (TSLA: NASDAQ) and two partners from Coda Automotive. They were also involved in Tesla Motors, Inc. (TSLA: NASDAQ) as part of their secondary businesses. Led by Thomas Neyhart, PosiGen sponsored a 2015 solar car race in the New York City area.
