Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill Opens February 13

The famous, talented, and very opinionated chef, Gordon Ramsay, will be opening yet another restaurant in Atlantic City in a few days. Ramsay, who is known for having fancy and delectable restaurants will be opening a pub-style one this time, similar to the one that he has located in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The location will be called “Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill”, and it will have 250 seas for diners and the menu will consist of delicious casual pub food.

According to an article found on reddit and written by Eater.com, the type of fare being served will be what you would expect from most British pubs. Fish and chips, for example, is one of the most well known and loved meals served in these kinds of places. For the beer lovers, there will even be 50 different kinds of brew on tap from all over the world which should be a big enough to please anyone’s palate.
Flavio Maluf hopes that this will be one of Ramsay’s successful restaurants, as a couple of them in the past have had a few issues. Just last month it was reported that one of his London eateries called “Maze” tackled a cockroach infestation issue, and that one of Britain’s political figures put down Ramsay’s cooking. In any case, Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill will be opening on February 13 in Atlantic City, New Jersey this week.

Antique Wine Company: Wine Verification Process

A sommelier values nothing more than a properly cared for and authentic wine selection. Antique Wine Company is one of the top organizations that treat their wines like children. This wine company understands the delicacy of wines and how even a little mishap can ruin the balance of flavors. In fact, expensive wines are frequently counterfeited and this is why companies like the Antique Wine Company have such a huge importance in the current world. This is also why their authenticating and verification process is so stringent when it comes to wines.

It was in 1982 that Antique Wine Company was launched by a person who loved good wines as much as any other sommelier. Perhaps, this fact is the biggest reason behind his success. The major focus of Antique Wine Company ever since it began has been to ensure that all its wines are authentic and sommeliers never have to face disappointment. The wine is handled with utmost care for the same reason. The verification of Antique Wine Company’s wines is done is a number of ways – by balancing experience with technology. The first way is by AWC’s ability to guarantee vintage wines.

Sommeliers would know that when it comes to great wines, age is the one factor that holds importance over most other things. However, this is also one area where fraudulent wine companies often find ways to cheat their customers. A careful and thorough process is involved in ensuring that a 15 year old wine (such as Furmint) is actually of that age and not a counterfeit. For this, the bottles of wine go through ion beam analysis. A particle accelerator is used for producing ion beams and the bottles are kept under that beam. X-rays are emitted because of this process. When experts peruse the results, they can tell how old the wine and the glass are. The margin of error is extremely small in this scientific process.

The second area where the wine’s authenticity is maintained is during shipping. The Antique Wine Company ensures that the wine never suffers when customers place orders through the online website. The wine is completely concealed inside the package and quality shipment providers are trusted for this job. This is because if the wine comes up to room temperature, it could become completely useless and its flavors would be ruined. The temperature outside is also kept away from the wine inside the shipment package.
